Introduction to the course
This course is aimed at existing or new installers of solid fuel appliances dry, wet or biomass; that wish to install and self-certify the installation of factory made twin wall chimney that runs internally or externally within the curtilage of a building or container.
Entry Requirements
Must hold a HETAS H003, or H005DE certificate issued within the last five years.
Course Content
Installation & Testing of prefabricated metal twin wall rigid chimney systems.
How is the course assessed
Multiple choice and desk based activity question papers; open book examination 100% to pass. Two attempts must get 80% or more for second attempt.
What Next
Register competence with HETAS after successful inspection.
