Robinsons UK, based in Seaham, County Durham, are a Technical Training Academy providing recognised qualifications to the heating and electrical industry across the UK. We are fast becoming the Number 1 Training Provider to the heating industry, building on our reputation of excellent customer service and knowledge.
The role
As part of our growth strategy, we now require a highly-motivated Trainer/Assessor to join our team. The right person will carry out a variety of training and assessment needs covering all heating technologies from working with new entrants into the industry to refresher ACS training. Based from our County Durham Centre, the role will also include coverage of our national client portfolio when required.
Applicants must have experience in the following areas:
Essential
- Domestic Gas – CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1 all with proven experience of technical competence
- Experience of Training/Mentoring/Auditing/Assessing (one or all)
- Up to date CPD
- Good standard of written and verbal communication
- ICT skills
- A current driving license
Desirable
- Domestic Gas – DAH1, UVHW
- Solid Fuel – HETAS H003 and H006
- Commercial Gas – CODNC01, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, CORT1
- Domestic Oil – OFT10-101, 105e, 600a
- TAQA L3 (or equivalent)
- PTTLS ( or equivalent)
- Internal verification qualification
You should also be a strong communicator and enjoy working within a team environment, sharing knowledge and providing support. You should be proactive in your approach to the needs of your courses and candidates. You will be responsible for the development and communication of amendments and updates of the training material for at least one main heating discipline. There are other roles and responsibilities that you will be asked to undertake in order to support the effective day-to-day running of the Centres, these will be discussed further at interview.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent – 40 hours per week
